Apply building skins and wallpapers to your base, with built-in support for community-created and Steam Workshop content.

Details

Use /bskin to open the customization menu. You can apply skins to individual buildings or your whole base using the hammer plus SHIFT shortcut, or commands like /bskin build and /bskin all. For DLC container skins, you can customize colors with the spray can or by using /bskin color.

Wallpapers can be applied to walls, floors, and ceilings. You can target interior walls, exterior walls, or both. Choose between full-auto wallpapering or manual placement using the reload (R) key and a hammer. The Wallpaper Rotation Tool lets you rotate floor and ceiling wallpapers for better alignment.

DLC and paid skins can only be used if you personally own them. If not owned, they will not appear as selectable options in the GUI.

Clan and team-wide edits are supported.

Access and Cost

• Available to Ember, Chaos, Phantom, and Shade
• Ember and Chaos: 5 cloth per wall side for wallpapers
• Phantom and Shade: Free wallpaper use (no cloth cost)

• /bskin - Opens the main skin and wallpaper GUI
• /bskin build or /bskin b - Applies the selected skin to the building you are looking at
• /bskin all or /bskin a - Applies the selected skin to all buildings you own
• /bskin color or /bskin c - Opens the color picker GUI

Wallpaper

• /bskin wp or /bskin wallpaper - Opens the wallpaper selection menu

Tips and Tricks

#

• Use SHIFT + hammer hit to instantly apply your selected building skin to the entire structure.
• Hold R and hammer a wall to manually apply wallpaper in Manual mode (GUI must be open).
• Use the Wallpaper Rotation Tool and hold SHIFT to rotate all matching floor and ceiling wallpapers at once.
