When you mount the steering wheel, a control panel appears automatically and gives you direct access to key ship systems in one place.
From the panel you can:
- Turn all engines on or off
- Open or close all sails
- Switch into reverse
- Raise or lower the anchor
The panel updates automatically so you always see the current state of your boat.
How It Works #
- The UI appears when you mount the steering wheel.
- The UI disappears when you dismount.
- Controls only work if you are authorised on the boat.
- Actions include a short cooldown to prevent rapid spam.
This setup is designed to keep sailing fast and simple, whether you are maneuvering, docking, or repositioning at sea.
Tips and Tricks #
- Toggle sails and engines from the wheel to avoid leaving your steering position.
- If the ui do not show up, confirm you are authorised on that boat.
