Train Yard

Overview

Train Yard is a large industrial rail monument made up of warehouses, towers, loading cranes, and an active rail network. It is one of the more expansive monuments on the map, with multiple buildings spread across a rail yard and surrounding industrial structures.

The monument includes a recycler, refinery access, a train car unloading system, and a multi-step Blue Card puzzle that rewards a Red Card.

Scientists patrol parts of the monument.

Layout

#

Train Yard is divided into several key industrial zones connected by rail lines.

Key areas include:

• Underground Train Entrance: Rail access point into the monument.
• Train Car Unloading Area: Location used to extract resources from train cars.
• Generator Room: First switch location for the puzzle.
• Switch Tower: Control tower used for unloading train cars and puzzle routing.
• Main Tower / Card Rooms: Contains the Blue Card room and Red Card spawn.
• Refinery Room: Public oil refinery access.
• Water Tower: Elevated landmark within the yard.
• Big Yellow Cranes: Large loading structures often used as reference points.
• Red Pipes Area: Industrial piping section near crate spawns.

The monument features rooftops, catwalks, rail tunnels, and open yard areas.

Loot

#

Train Yard typically contains:

• Military crate spawns
• Brown and component crates
• Loot box crates inside rail cars
• Recycler access
• Refinery access
• Blue Card puzzle rewards
• Red Card spawn inside the Blue Card room

Crates are distributed across rooftops, warehouses, rail cars, and the secured puzzle room.

Train Car Unloader

#

Train Yard includes a resource extraction system for train cars.

To use it:

1. Drive a train with loaded resource cars to the unloading station.
2. Position the cars beneath the unloading chute.
3. Enter the Switch Tower using a Green Card and fuse.
4. Operate the controls to extract materials from the train cars.

Extracted materials are deposited into tanks beneath the control area for collection.

Blue Card Puzzle

To access the Blue Card room:

1. Activate the switch in the Generator Room.
2. Activate the switch in the Switch Tower.
3. Insert a fuse and activate the final switch in the Main Building.
4. Swipe a Blue Card at the secured door.

Inside the room you will find multiple crate spawns and a Red Card.
