Nuclear Missile Silo
A late-game monument with a compact surface compound, a large underground facility, Red Keycard hatch access, and high crate density.

Overview #
Nuclear Missile Silo (often just called Silo) is a late-game monument added in 2023. It is split into two clear parts: a compact surface compound and a long underground facility beneath it. The surface section is fenced and fairly small. The underground section is where most of the monument’s rooms, loot, and activity sit.
This monument is not a safe zone. Radiation is present, and the deeper areas are noticeably hotter than the surface.
Key Features #
- High crate density across the underground levels
- Red Keycard access to open the main hatch into the underground
- Diesel barrels at the bottom area
- Public Telephone
- Multiple CCTV camera codes tied to the monument
- One-way style flow once the main hatch is used, with a dedicated exit route that leads back outside
CCTV codes commonly used at the monument include:

Surface Layout #
The surface is a fenced compound with several small buildings and a few tall towers. Key surface locations are:
Outer Ring Buildings #
- Propane trailer area with small structures and crate spawns
- Red truck building with interior crate spawns
- Open hangar bay with several crate spawns
Red Keycard Access Point #
A small building holds the Red Keycard swiper and button used to open the main underground hatch. Once triggered, a loud opening sequence plays and the central blast hatch opens briefly.
Main Hatch Into the Underground #
The large central hatch opens to a drop-down entry platform. This is the primary way into the underground facility.
Exit-only Blast Door #
There is a separate exit-only door built into the rockface that can be opened from inside, acting as the intended way out after completing the underground route.
Underground Layout #
The underground is a linear facility made up of corridors, office spaces, lobbies, and service rooms. It can be viewed as a steady descent that ends in a cavern-like final area, followed by an exit path back up.
Key areas include:
Early Underground Rooms #
- Office room with a crate spawn
- Lobby spaces with side rooms containing additional crates
- Restroom areas with comfort seating and crate spawns
Mid Facility #
- Long corridors and choke-style rooms where interior rooms branch off
- Admin-style office section leading into another lobby area
- Living quarters rooms with crate spawns
Lower Facility and End Area #
- Computer room style space with a crate spawn
- Garage bay and truck area leading into the cavern
- Cavern end section containing:
- Diesel barrels
- High-value crate spawns
- A large visual focal point tied to the missile and countdown display
Loot #
Nuclear Missile Silo is known for loot volume. Loot is spread across:
- Surface buildings (smaller number of crates)
- Underground lobbies, offices, storage rooms, and living quarters (the bulk of crate spawns)
- Final cavern area (notable for diesel barrels and high-value spawns)
There is no recycler in the monument itself.
Nuclear Missile Silo is a high-intensity monument with a compact surface compound and a large underground facility. The surface holds the Red Keycard access to open the main hatch, while the underground delivers most of the crate spawns and diesel payout at the bottom. The run typically finishes by routing to the internal exit path that leads back outside through the blast doors.
