Ferry Terminal

A coastal port monument with no radiation, no scientists, strong utility access, a Green Keycard spawn, and elevated jump-puzzle routes.

Ferry Terminal

Overview
#

Ferry Terminal was introduced during the Deep Sea update and is a coastal port-style monument. It resembles a small harbor complex, complete with piers, a warehouse, terminal lobby, roadway, and seawalls.

It is one of the lower-difficulty monuments in Rust. There is no radiation and no scientist presence. It is not a safe zone.

  • Green Keycard spawn behind an employee desk
  • Public Telephone
  • Research Table
  • Red-light entrance to the underground train tunnel

This building acts as the central hub of the monument.

Warehouse and Loading Dock
#

An open industrial section with:

  • Barrel spawns
  • Shipping containers
  • Public Repair Bench
  • Access to rooftop via a small jump route

The warehouse roof may contain crate spawns.

Recycler and Car Lift Area
#

Located outside in a compact central section:

  • 1 Recycler
  • 1 Public Modular Car Lift
  • Barrel spawns

This area is exposed from multiple angles.

Port of Entry Roadway
#

A large open concrete roadway featuring:

  • Static vehicles including trucks and a non-functional MLRS
  • Box trailers with possible crate spawns
  • Access to multiple piers

This connects the terminal to the waterfront structures.

Jump Puzzle Tower
#

One of the monument’s most notable features:

  • Multiple rope ladders and climbable knot ropes
  • Elevated platforms
  • Potential spawns of several barrels and crates
  • Highest vantage point in the monument

There is also a secondary rope ladder route allowing access to the upper level without completing the full puzzle.

Piers and Waterfront
#

Includes:

  • Dingey Pier with rope ladder
  • Long Dingey Pier for boat access
  • Trailer Dock Pier with stationary rowboats
  • Miniature Lighthouse (decorative)
  • Seawalls and catwalks
  • Dormant Tugboat wedged into rocks

Crate spawns are possible on piers and the tugboat but are not guaranteed.

Loot
#

Ferry Terminal contains:

  • Numerous barrel spawns across piers and buildings
  • Crates scattered across rooftops, trailers, and jump puzzle platforms
  • 1 Green Keycard
  • Occasional higher fuel barrel spawns

Loot density can feel inconsistent, depending on respawn timing.

Ferry Terminal is an accessible early-to-mid progression monument with moderate crate density and multiple elevated positions across its waterfront layout.
