Cargo Plane Crash

A cargo plane crashes at a randomized site on the map and becomes the focal point of the event. Smoke signals and optional map markers guide you to the wreckage. The area is defended by hostile NPCs that patrol and chase intruders within range.

You will find between one and two lootable crates or airdrops near the crash. NPCs spawn around the site and remain active until defeated or until their lifetime expires. Fireball effects and signal smoke enhance visibility.

Crates use SimpleLootTable if configured and despawn a few minutes after being looted. Airdrops follow similar logic. If you are the first to deal damage to an NPC, you gain looting rights for that crate when PvE mode is active.

Tips and Tricks

• The plane crash site appears with smoke and fireballs, watch the sky and listen for engine noise beforehand.
• NPCs chase you once inside the event radius, use cover and avoid standing still.
