The Zone Reopens

Access restored to the Exclusion Zone

State of Flux News Network This Friday, NZT

For the first time in decades, access has been restored to one of the most mysterious regions ever mapped.

Known simply as The Zone, the area has remained isolated behind checkpoints and abandoned infrastructure, its vast landscape largely untouched by the outside world.

Early aerial surveys reveal an immense region where dense forests, quiet lakes and open countryside are interrupted by sprawling industrial complexes, deserted settlements and one unmistakable landmark visible for kilometres in every direction.

The Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant.

Its cooling towers continue to dominate the skyline, standing over a network of roads, railways and facilities that once supported one of the largest industrial regions ever constructed.

The Streets of Pripyat

Authorities have confirmed the Zone contains dozens of significant locations, from towering radar arrays and silent city blocks to vast manufacturing plants, railway depots, bridges and forgotten villages.

While many of these sites have remained undisturbed for years, they are now open for exploration once again.

Confirmed routes include Pripyat, Duga, the Power Plant, rail depots and industrial sites.
